Jesus Chacon was born in about 1889 at Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico and was the seventh child of Jose Librado Chacon and Lorensa Carrasco Arrasolo. Jesus married Victoriana Villanueva on February 12, 1912 at the mission Santa Rosalia de Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico. Jesus moved his family to the United States in the winter of 1919, refugees of the depredations of the bandit Pancho Villa. Jesus was killed in an industrial accident on October 28, 1942 and was buried in the Concordia Cemetary, El Paso, Texas.

Victoriana Villanueva was born on April 5, 1890 at Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico the sixth child of Jose Tomas Villanueva and Bernada (Bernardina) Timotea Pineda Garcia. Vicoriana died from complications incident to child birth on June 25, 1925 and was buried in the Concordia Cemetary, El Paso, Texas.

After the death of his wife Jesus remarried; marrying Victoriana's younger sister Maria Guadalupe Villanueva.
